The Oakland County Farmers Market is excited for a busy 2023 season! Vendors will be continually updating their seasonal items and bringing more fresh produce and plants as the months progress. There will also be a variety of artisanal foods and crafts, gardening items and other products available for sale.

The Oakland County Farmers Market is open from 7am-1:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays beginning May 2. Farm-fresh produce is healthy, supports local businesses and helps protect the environment. Check out the Michigan Produce Availability Guide to see when fresh produce will be in season and be sure to visit this often to see what treasures you'll find this spring!

Please note: Availability varies daily. If you are looking for a specific fruit, vegetable, plant, decor item, artisan food product or craft, please call the market at 248-858-5495 to confirm that it will be available before your visit.

Gleaners Food Distribution

Families and individuals in need of food are encouraged to attend a drive-up distribution by Gleaners Community Food Bank from 9-11 a.m. Wednesdays, April 19 and May 3.

Spring Flower Days

The Oakland County Farmers Market is hosting a Spring Flower Days series on May 14, 21, 28 and June 4 and 11. Shop for flowers and plants, such as annuals, perennials, flats, hanging baskets and vegetable starters and related gardening items.

Document Shredding Days

Oakland County residents may bring their confidential, personal documents to be shred on site for free during two Free Document Shredding Days from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 19 and Sept. 8 at the Oakland County Farmers Market. The Rapid Shred and High Tech Recycling trucks will be in the parking lot to accept paper, computers, laptops, tablets, printers, fax machines and more. Please arrive early as there is typically a line of cars, but the line moves quickly. Residents are reminded to limit documents to three or four boxes of paper only for the shredding truck. The Oakland County Farmers Market provides grower-direct fresh produce, flowers and hand-made goods. Vendors showcase their products via indoor and outdoor stalls. Red Wood Grill provides on-site BBQ fare. Special events are held throughout the year, including Oakland Uncorked, flower days and community garage sales. Regular programming is hosted by Michigan State University Extension and Master Gardeners, as well as the Oakland Conservation District.
