MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — The annual Meridian Dairy Days and Stock Show returns to Meridianfor its 94th year on June 21-24 at Story Park.
The Meridian Dairy Days is a local celebration of Meridian as the dairy center of Idaho. Dairy Days activities and sponsorships directly fundraise scholarships going to West Ada District 4H students and members of Treasure Valley area FFA students.
The event will start with the Meridian Dairy Princess Pageant on Wednesday.
Thursday will kick off with the Rainier Carnival in Story Park, food vendors and local music on the main stage. The second Ice Cream Social will be at 5 p.m.
The carnival, music and vendors will continue on Friday, with the 4H Pancake Feed occurring in the morning. The Stock Shows will also start with Dairy Goat and Cattle at the speedway, and the 3rd Annual Keith Bird Golf Tournament will occur at Lakeview golf course.
The Meridian Parks Corn Hole and Volleyball Tournaments will happen Friday afternoon and evening. Live local music, vendors and the Race at Meridian Speedway will happen Friday night.
The Story Park activities will happen on Saturday, then stick around for the Dairy Days Parade.
