YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Texas Longhorn bull on the loose in York County, Pennsylvania has disrupted traffic on I-83 northbound by the Fishing Creek exit, PennDOT confirms.
The incident reportedly began around 2:55 p.m., according to 511PA. Fairview Township Police were called to the scene shortly after, dispatch confirms. Fairview Township Police said that the loose steer had escaped a trailer while being transported.
The wandering bull was seen in the grassy median strip of Exit 36 surrounded by parked vehicles and one man wielding a lasso, attempting to reign in the animal. Drivers were also seen on the shoulder of the highway as the bull trotted through lanes of traffic.
The bull was even seen at the front door of a nearby office space, peering through the glass after wandering the roadways.
PennDOT officially confirmed that the Longhorn bull was caught around 3:52 p.m.
