BOISE- Sweetwater fire victims were firing up the barbecues Saturday.

Victims whose homes were lost or damaged in the Amity Road Inferno came together to say 'thank you' to all the people who have given their support.

Senator Crapo honored five people who made heroic efforts during and after the disaster, entering their names into the Congressional Record.

The fire victims hosted a 'thank you barbecue' and the cold weather didn't seem to stop anyone from having a good time.

"We just want to express our gratitude to the people who have really shown up and have helped us pick up the pieces," said Brook Linville, a Sweetwater resident who lost her home in the fire.

The families say it's been amazing to see the outpouring of support and they can't say 'thank you' enough.
