Name them.
Also, please post the days and times they’re operating, as well as where.
Also, please feel free to post your fave Taco Trucks all through the United States, so that locals may enjoy their food, regardless of where they live, outside of L.A.
TIA!

Oops!
I meant BEST Taco Trucks in L.A., not Eat Taco Trucks in L.A.
Apologies, and FUCK iOS’ spell check capabilities, and obvious INABILITIES.

There’s a family that sets up on Santa Monica Blvd just west of Highland near that storage place.
Used to be just weekends, but now seems most every late afternoon/night

Used to be one (pre-pandemic) that would be on the west side of La Brea between Hollywood and Sunset.
Run there for a bite and then dash into The Woods for a cheap libation.

I like the Spanish word for butterfly, so I would call one of the trucks Mariposa.

Thanks, R5!
Also, even though this isn’t a Taco Truck, Astro Burgers on Santa Monica & Gardner, in WeHo, make some DELICIOUS carné asada tacos.
You can order them to your own specifications, as well.
Just make sure to order the pico de gallo, on the side. No sauce on the tacos, only on the side. They tend to over saturate them with the pico de gallo, unless you ask for it on the side.
Otherwise?
They’ll make them exactly as you wish. Make sure to order their spicy guacamole, on the side as well, with tons of chips. These people fry up the PERFECT chips. Trust me.

For those slumming in the Valley....
Acasa Food Truck -- 5805 White Oak Ave, Encino (1/2 mile north of the 101, in front of the post office). Hours of operation: Tuesday-Thursday, 5pm-11pm; Friday & Saturday, 4pm-12am.
Best Carne Asada fries I've ever had! I'm also partial to their crispy tacos, which are difficult to find. I've never tried their fish/shrimp tacos or burritos, but my seafood-loving friends tell me they are excellent.

Thanks so much, R9/R10!
It’s important that we make these LEGAL, immigrant owned, small businesses, profitable.
I truly admire those who come to this country, & make themselves successful, via hard work and continuous diligence.

Villas Tacos has been named the best street tacos in LA for a couple of years now and you can catch them on York Blvd and Ave 52 in Highland park on most weekend nights.
Additionally there’s an amazing taco set up on Eagle Rock Blvd in front of the Glassell Park Target store. There’s usually a huge line but it’s worth it!
